Regular-Weight Polypropylene Webbing

Regular-weight polypropylene webbing is useful for light duty applications where low cost and light weight are important. Flexible and easy to sew, regular-weight polypropylene is generally used for bags, totes, handles, and packs. Widths range from ½-inches to 4-inches. Thickness for each size is 0.050 inches. Strength is about 600 lbs./inch of width.

Polypropylene webbing is similar to the nylon webbing, but it is lighter, less expensive, and easier to sew. Polypropylene webbing, commonly found on handbags, backpacks, and pet leashes, is waterproof and does not absorb dirt or water.
